so you can look at stuff when you're bored.
First Look

The stuff

I have been reading through that book still, and applying some of what I have learned. Generally, it's just been a refresher for techniques and ideas I have already developed, but it's been good and reaffirming. I pick up the "hash marks" pencil technique which I think is pretty cool. I will need to take more time and practice to nail it down.

Hey Eric, How's it goin'? The "Stuff" looks good. So, I'm working on some income that actually uses my major with some freelance design that I hope to submit to several fabric manufacturers for production and I had a question you might answer. How do you keep markers from looking so . . . marker-y? You know, the overlapping weird lines of disgusting saturation? Also, are you a prismacolor or some other brand recommender? Thanks! Keep working! jordanelise@hotmail.com

Eric, you seriously are an amazing artist. It blows my mind every time I look at your stuff. It just looks like it comes straight out of a movie, like a pro that gets paid millions of dollars to do it is putting these on your page. I love looking at it, seriously. :D

Ericcc. You REALLY need some new stuff. It's been months! I'm going through a newly discovered disease called "Eric's Art Withdrawl Syndrome", or EAWS for short. It's a disease when one goes through months of not seeing new artwork, they start shutting down. Please, think of the poor helpless art lovers. ...Oh mann. I feel like a dork now. But that's okay. If it gets you to put up new artwork, I'm down for anything.
